Step 1: Gather Your Supplies

You'll need a piece of paper larger than your foot, a pencil, and a ruler or measuring tape.

Step 2: Trace Your Foot

Place the paper on a flat surface. Stand on the paper with your full weight evenly distributed. Use the pencil to trace around your foot. Hold the pencil upright to get the most accurate outline.

Using a ruler or measuring tape, measure the length from the tip of your longest toe to the back of your heel.

Measure the widest part of your foot to determine your foot width. This helps ensure the best fit for your shoes.
